You bring the business — I build the site. Setup is free when your domain and hosting come through Enter The Net.
How it works
- You buy your domain and Basic WordPress hosting (plus email, if you want it) through Enter The Net — my own storefront, powered by GoDaddy.
- Your account is active before I start building.
- I build your site on WordPress. You review it, one revision round is included, and we launch when you say go.
Most sites launch in 3–4 weeks once I have everything I need from you.
What’s included free
- Up to 6 pages (for example: Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact)
- Blog set up and ready to post
- Contact form that emails you
- Basic search-engine setup, so Google can find you
- Mobile-friendly design
- One round of revisions
- 30 days of fixes after launch — if something I built breaks, I fix it free
- A one-hour Zoom walkthrough at launch — your questions, answered live — plus a short written manual for everyday updates
Your site is yours to update
The site belongs to you, and you can update it any time — add a post, change text, swap a photo — whenever you like, no need to ask me. The walkthrough and manual cover exactly how: posting, editing text, and swapping photos. Anything bigger, I’m a call away (see the care plan and hourly rate below).
What you provide
- Your text (rough notes are fine — I’ll polish them), your photos, and your logo if you have one
- Answers to a short questionnaire about your business
Your price — the same every year
- Domain (.com): $23.99/year
- Basic WordPress hosting: $12.99/month
- Email: $4.99/month per mailbox (optional)
No teaser rates: your renewal price is the same as your first-year price. The one exception is if GoDaddy raises its wholesale prices — if that happens, your price may move by the same amount, and I’ll tell you well before renewal, never as a surprise.
What’s extra (quoted up front, before any work starts)
- Pages beyond 6
- Online store, booking, or payment features beyond a basic contact form
- Extra revision rounds
- Logo or branding design
- Copywriting from scratch
- Other Enter The Net services available on request — ask me and I’ll quote them
Care plan — $30/month (optional)
- WordPress and plugin updates, backups, and security checks
- Small content changes (text and photo swaps, new posts)
- Help when something on the site looks off
- Up to 30 minutes a month of my time by phone or Zoom — your questions, walkthroughs, and advice
- Hosting, domain, and email questions go to GoDaddy’s support by phone — it’s included with your account and works well.
No care plan? Work by the hour
- $75/hour, 1-hour minimum, quoted before work starts
- Covers the same kind of work: content changes, fixes, small additions
- If you find yourself asking more than a couple of times a month, the care plan is the cheaper way to get it done.
Optional add-on: Presence Watch — $20/month
Your reputation lives across the web — Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, and anywhere else customers find you. Presence Watch keeps an eye on up to 15 of your social media and directory listings, so nothing sits unanswered.
- A weekly check of up to 15 of your social media and directory listings, starting with your Google profile, Facebook page, Instagram, and Yelp — the full list is agreed when you sign up
- New reviews, unanswered questions, and other inquiries flagged to you within a day
- A short monthly summary: review count and rating trend, what customers loved and complained about, and one suggested action
- A drafted reply for every new review, in your voice, sent to you — you post it yourself. We never log in to your accounts or post on your behalf
- At launch, your site link added to your Google profile and social bios
You keep full control: we have no access to your accounts and never log in to them. Presence Watch is monitoring, not managing your accounts: posting, messages, and review removal are not included. Checks run weekly, not in real time, and some platforms show limited information without logging in.
The one commitment
Free setup is built on a 12-month hosting relationship. If hosting is cancelled within the first 12 months, a $150 setup fee applies.
With the care plan, the annual cost of a professional, dynamic website is under $600. Without the care plan, it’s under $240.
Start the conversation
Thinking about a site? Tell me a little about it — no pressure, no pitch. I’ll reply personally.
